What is a cut line in design?
A cut line is a path that gets placed around your design to tell us exactly how it should be cut. Most stickers feature a white border around the design – this is what the cut line creates.
Before drawing the cutting line, you need to differentiate between kiss cut, die cut, and bleeding die cut.
Die Cut Stickers
This term simply means custom-shaped stickers. Both the sticker material and the backing material give your custom die-cut stickers a shape that is as unique as the artwork on it!
Kiss Cut Stickers
Custom kiss cut stickers include light cuts within the border of your stickers. When stickers are created with kiss cuts, it means they can easily peel out of the backing material and the backing material remains intact. Multiple kiss cuts on one sticker are usually called a "sticker sheet".
